MARQMETRIX RAMAN FACTORY CALIBRATION

Every MarqMetrix All-In-One Process Raman System leaves our Seattle, WA facility factory calibrated, ensuring continuous and precise process Raman analysis. Since March 2019, we have been conducting a calibration study on an All-In-One spectrometer to demonstrate the stability and performance of our Raman instruments without recalibration.

RESULTS

The MarqMetrix All-In-One spectrometer has been stable and accurate within ±0.1cm-1 (±1.5%) 5x lower than reported ASTM reference accuracy without recalibration as of 07/26/21. MarqMetrix will continue to update this page with calibration study results.

HOW ARE WE MEASURING HARDWARE STABILITY?

MarqMetrix has been conducting a long-term calibration study on a single All-In-One device since March 2019. Nine Raman peak positions of cyclohexane are being monitored throughout this experiment to prove long-term wavelength calibration stability. MarqMetrix is using the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Calibration Standard as a comparison.

WHY IS CALIBRATION STABILITY IMPORTANT?

Calibration stability and reproducibility between Raman instruments allow for the use of global models. This capability greatly reduces both the cost of ownership and implementation cost for additional Raman systems. The MarqMetrix All-In-One Process Raman system has proven to be stable within plus or minus 1.5% for 2 years with zero recalibration. The only time this machine was calibrated was when it was built in the MarqMetrix production facility.
